Head to head

The short answer
- Different jobs. LeagueLobster builds the league’s schedule and keeps its standings. TeamSnap runs each team: RSVPs, chat, payments and a phone app.
- Priced differently. One LeagueLobster subscription covers a league’s schedule; TeamSnap is priced per team, and its club and league products are by quote.
- Public standings: on every LeagueLobster plan; on TeamSnap only through the Business and Clubs & Leagues website builder.
- They work together. On LITE or PRO, LeagueLobster exports a schedule in TeamSnap’s import format.

Using them together
The two products sit at different levels, and LeagueLobster plans for that: on a paid plan its share dialog exports the schedule in a format TeamSnap imports, and TeamSnap’s help centre documents importing a schedule from CSV. A league can build the season in LeagueLobster and let each team run its week in TeamSnap.
The catch is cost spread: the league pays LeagueLobster monthly, and each team that wants more than TeamSnap’s free plan pays TeamSnap per team.
Where Simple Standings fits
If the league’s real need is one public table, neither is the cheapest route. Simple Standings is a free standings, schedule and stats page for the whole league, $9.99 once to remove the ads. It does not build schedules around venues (LeagueLobster does) or run teams (TeamSnap does). See Simple Standings vs LeagueLobster and Simple Standings vs TeamSnap.

Questions
Frequently asked
- Can LeagueLobster export to TeamSnap?

- Does TeamSnap make league schedules?
- TeamSnap’s team help documents adding games and importing an existing schedule from CSV; it does not document a generator that fits a league around venues and time slots, which is LeagueLobster’s core.
- Which shows public standings?
- LeagueLobster, on every plan, with no account needed to view. TeamSnap shows league standings through the Division module of its website builder on TeamSnap for Business and Clubs & Leagues; team plans show the team’s own record.
