Free league management software for any sport: standings, schedule, scores and player stats on one link. No registration or payments, and no subscription. Ads keep it free.

Two kinds

Which kind do you need?

League management software comes in two kinds: platforms that also run your sign-ups and money, and tools that run the season itself. Be honest about which one your league needs.

Pick Simple Standings if

  • People mostly ask where they sit and who they play next
  • Sign-ups and fees are already handled by a form, a bank transfer or a captain
  • A volunteer runs the league and there is no software budget
  • Your spreadsheet has become a chore

Pick a full platform if

  • You take registrations or collect fees online
  • You want a full website on your own domain
  • You need rosters and team messaging in one system
  • You need fixtures solved around venues, time slots and travel

What it runs

The jobs, one by one

Make the schedule

Enter your teams and the league schedule maker writes a round robin, byes included. You add the dates and venues, because you know your bookings. Then visitors filter it by team, division or venue.

Record the scores

Report a final once and the standings move, after you tell it which columns count wins and losses. Or type straight into the table. Nothing has to be scheduled first.

Keep the stats

Add a player statistics table to the same page. Count a box score and the standings, the player totals and a page for that game all update.

Run seasons and divisions

Give each division its own league, or put divisions in a schedule column and let visitors filter. Duplicate a league for next season without rebuilding it.

Share the work

Invite co-admins by email so results do not all fall to you. Prefer to talk to it? Run the league from ChatGPT or Claude.

Tell everyone

One link and a QR code. No account or app for viewers. The league page comes in 12 languages, with your colours and logo, plus custom pages for rules or sponsors.

The case

Why Simple Standings

Sports league management software usually means a platform: registration, payments, a website, a messaging app and a price to match. Plenty of leagues need none of that. They already have a group chat and a way to collect fees. What they need is a table people can check, a schedule that is right, and last night's scores posted without redoing a spreadsheet. That is what Simple Standings does, for free. You keep the records, your players get one link, and nobody needs an account to read it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is league management software?
Software that handles the admin of a sports league. At minimum that means standings, schedules and scores. Full platforms add registration, payments, websites and team messaging. Simple Standings does the first group and leaves the second out.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with unlimited leagues and no game caps. Ads on public league pages pay for it. $9.99 USD, one time removes them from one league, with nothing to renew.
Does it handle registration and payments?
No, and if you need them, a full platform is the better buy. If your sign-ups already live on a form, add a link to it in the bar at the top of your league page.
Does it build the schedule for me?
It writes the matchups: every round of a round robin from your team list. Dates, times and venues stay yours to fill in, because it does not know your bookings. If you need fixtures solved around venues and time slots, a dedicated scheduler such as LeagueLobster does that and this does not.
Does it work as soccer league management software?
Yes. The soccer preset starts with wins, losses, draws, points, goals for, goals against and goal difference. Add your own tiebreaker columns if you need them. Presets cover 53 sports in all.
Can it handle several divisions and seasons?
Yes. Create as many leagues as you like, one per division if that suits you, or put divisions in a schedule column so visitors can filter. Duplicate a league to start the next season with the same setup.
Can other people help run the league?
Yes. Invite co-admins by email. Everyone else sees a read-only page, so a shared link can never change your numbers.
Do players need an account or an app?
No. The league page opens in any browser, on any phone. Only the people running the league sign in.
