The case
Why Simple Standings
Spreadsheets are powerful, but they are the wrong tool for league standings. You spend more time on formulas and formatting than on running your league. Simple Standings is purpose-built for one job: standings and schedules you can share with a link. Free, simple, and ready in minutes.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Why not just use a spreadsheet?
- Spreadsheets work, but they take time to set up, break easily, and look bad on phones. Simple Standings is faster for the one job league organizers need.
- Can I import from a spreadsheet?
- No direct import. Most leagues set up in under a minute with manual entry.
- What does Simple Standings cost?
- Free, with no credit card and no trial clock — you can run your whole season, share the link, and never pay anything. Public pages carry ads, and a one-time $9.99 USD removes them from that league. No subscription, and it never expires.
- What about Google Sheets vs Excel?
- Simple Standings replaces both. See our specific comparison pages for Google Sheets and Excel.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. Export standings as CSV anytime from the editor.
