The case
Why Simple Standings
Excel standings templates are everywhere — and they all have the same problems. Formulas break when someone adds a row, nobody can view them easily on a phone, and you end up emailing updated files every week. Simple Standings replaces the whole workbook, not just the standings sheet: a standings table, a game schedule, and a player statistics table, each with columns already set up for your sport. Type in your data, share one link, and everyone sees the latest version.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions

- Can I export to Excel?
- Yes. Export your standings as CSV from the editor and open it in Excel.
- Is this better than an Excel template?
- For sharing standings with a league, yes. One link always shows the latest data — no version confusion.
- Do I need Microsoft Office?
- No. Simple Standings runs in any web browser. Viewers do not need an account.
- Is Simple Standings free?
- Everything described here is free — unlimited leagues, no game caps, and a share link that works straight away. Public pages carry ads, and a one-time $9.99 USD takes them off a league, with nothing to renew.
