Why Simple Standings

Work out who plays whom without a spreadsheet full of formulas. Enter your team names, pick round robin, single knockout, or double knockout, and every matchup is generated for you β€” including the later bracket rounds, which show the game they depend on the way a paper bracket does. Dates, times, and diamonds are left blank on purpose: you know your own venues and rainout policy, so those are yours to fill in, either right here or after you save. Nothing is behind a signup β€” generate it, download the CSV, or save it into a shareable league page.

Features

  • Round robin β€” everyone plays everyone, arranged so nobody plays twice in a round
  • Optional home-and-away double round robin
  • Single knockout with byes given to the top seeds
  • Double knockout with a full losers bracket
  • Later rounds read β€œWinner of Game 4”, so the bracket is complete from the start
  • Date, time, and venue columns you fill in yourself
  • Download a CSV, or save it straight into a shareable league page
  • Free, and no account needed to generate

How it works

Enter your teams

Type them in or paste a list. Two teams is enough to get started.

2

Pick a format

Round robin, single knockout, or double knockout. The games are generated instantly.

3

Add your dates and diamonds

Fill in when and where each game is played, then download it or save it as a shareable page.

Frequently asked questions

Does it set the dates and times for me?
No, and that is deliberate. It works out the matchups; you set when and where each game is played. It does not know your diamond bookings, your daylight, or which teams cannot play Tuesdays β€” so those columns come through blank for you to fill in.
How many games will a round robin be?
Every team plays every other once, so it is n Γ— (n-1) Γ· 2 β€” 6 games for 4 teams, 28 for 8, 66 for 12. Tick home and away to double it. An odd number of teams means one team has a bye each round.
What happens in the later rounds of a knockout?
They are generated too, showing which game each side comes from β€” β€œWinner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4”. You fill in the names as results come in, exactly like a bracket on a wall.
What is the difference between single and double knockout?
In a single knockout one loss sends you home, so it is n-1 games. A double knockout gives everyone a second life through a losers bracket, which is fairer on a team that has one bad game, and takes roughly twice as many games.
Do I need an account?
Not to generate a schedule or download it as a CSV. You only need one if you want to save it as a shareable page your league can check β€” and the account step comes at the end, once the schedule already exists.
Can it schedule around venue availability?
No. This generates matchups, not a solved fixture list β€” it does not balance venues, travel, or time slots. If constraint-based scheduling is your real problem, a dedicated scheduler will serve you better.
