Switching guide
📦Switch from LeagueLobster to Simple Standings
How to get your standings and schedule out of LeagueLobster, including on the free plan where export is turned off, and into a Simple Standings league in a few minutes.
By The Simple Standings team · Updated November 8, 2026 · Facts about other products checked November 8, 2026
Before you start
- On a paid plan (LITE or PRO) you can export the schedule: SHARE, then Export at the top of the share dialog, then CSV/Excel.
- On the free plan export is turned off. The public standings and schedule pages are still ordinary web tables you can copy.
- Standings: LeagueLobster documents no standings export, so copy the table from its public page on any plan.
- Cost to switch: nothing. Simple Standings is free with ads, or $9.99 once per league without.

What comes across, and what does not
We do not have an account on it, so its steps below are what its own help centre says, linked under Sources. The Simple Standings steps were run on a local build.
- Standings: team names and every column on the public table (wins, losses, points, differentials). Your tiebreak order does not travel: set the sort order and any formula columns in Simple Standings.
- Schedule: dates, times, teams and venues. Scores come with it only if your export includes them; LeagueLobster’s help centre does not say either way.
- Not coming across: registrations, payments, brackets and the venue and travel constraints. Simple Standings has no equivalent of those.
Step by step
Moving a LeagueLobster league, step by step
- 01
Copy the standings from LeagueLobster
Open your schedule’s public standings page (it needs no sign-in), select the table from the first heading to the last row, and copy it. A browser copies a web table as tab-separated rows, which is what the import reads.
- 02
Get the schedule out
On LITE or PRO: click SHARE, then Export at the top of the share dialog, and choose CSV/Excel. On the free plan export is off, so copy the schedule table from the public page the same way as the standings.
- 03
Create the league in Simple Standings
Start a free league and pick your sport, so the standings columns come prefilled. You can import at this step, or later from the editor.
- 04
Open Import from a spreadsheet
Each table (standings, schedule, statistics) has an Import from a spreadsheet button. Drop in a CSV, TSV or Excel file, or choose paste rows straight from your spreadsheet and paste the rows you copied (for the schedule, use the schedule table’s own import).
- 05
Match the columns
Tick The first row is column headings if it is. For each column, choose what it imports as: an existing column, the team name, Add as a new column, or Do not import. Nothing is saved until you press Import.
- 06
Share the new link
Copy the league’s link or print its QR code, and send it where the old one went: the group chat, the league email, the venue’s notice board.
When to stay on LeagueLobster
- Your season has to fit venues, time slots and travel rules: keep building it there.
- You take registration fees online through it.
- You run brackets or several divisions on one page.
- You can also do both: build the schedule there, keep the table here.
What you give up by switching
- Constraint scheduling and automatic fixture lists.
- Registration and payments.
- Divisions on one page: in Simple Standings each division is its own league.
- An ad-free page without paying: Simple Standings shows ads unless you pay $9.99 once.
Questions
Frequently asked
- Can I export from LeagueLobster on the free plan?
- No. Its help centre says ad-supported schedules cannot be exported. Copying the public standings and schedule tables from your browser works on any plan.
- Will my LeagueLobster standings recalculate in Simple Standings?
- They come across as the numbers in the table. From then on, type results straight in or add one game at a time, and add formula columns for anything you work out, like points per game.
- Can I keep my schedule in LeagueLobster and just move the standings?
- Yes. Simple Standings does not need a schedule. Move the table and leave the fixtures where they are.
