How it keeps score
Free darts score keeper for your phone. 501 and 301, double-out with busts handled for you, checkout suggestions, three-dart averages, best-of legs, undo, and save the match to your league standings.
- Enter each visitโs total and the keeper counts down from 501 or 301.
- Double-out: the last dart has to be a double (the bull counts). Going below zero, leaving 1, or reaching zero without a double is a bust and scores nothing.
- Totals no three darts can make, like 179, are refused as typos rather than counted.
- A checkout is suggested whenever the score left can be finished in three darts.
- Best of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 legs, with the throw alternating each leg. Straight-out is an option.
Questions
- What counts as a bust?
- With double-out on, a visit busts if it takes you below zero, leaves you on 1, or reaches zero without finishing on a double. The visit scores nothing and the turn passes, the same as at the board.
- Does it suggest checkouts?
- Yes. From 170 down, whenever the score left can be finished in three darts or fewer, the keeper shows a route โ 170 is T20, T20, Bull.
- Can I save a darts score to my league standings?
- Yes. When the game is over, tap Save to your league. Pick one of your leagues and the scheduled game, or two of its teams, and the standings update straight away โ wins, losses and the score columns your league counts. No account yet? Sign up free and you come straight back to the finished game to save it.
- Do I need an account or an app?
- No. The score keeper runs in your phoneโs browser and is free with no sign-up. The game is kept on your phone as you go, so a dropped signal or a closed tab does not lose it. An account is only needed to save the final score to a league.
