🔗Share your league

Every league you create gets its own address at /s/ followed by a short id. Anyone with the link can read the page — no login, no app, nothing to install. What the link needs before it works for other people is publishing.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Preview it first

Before you have published, the editor shows a Preview button that opens your page exactly as it will look. Use it — it is the fastest way to catch a column nobody needs or a sort order that ranks the table wrong, and it costs nothing.

  2. 2

    Publish

Publishing the public page is the one paid part of Simple Standings: a one-time purchase, currently $29 USD, with no subscription and nothing to renew. Until then the page shows as unavailable to anyone who opens it, and the editor badges the league as Not published.

  3. 3

    Check Visibility

On the Settings tab, Public — visible to anyone with the share link controls whether the page is live. Untick it to take the page down temporarily without deleting anything; the editor shows a Hidden badge while it is off.

  4. 4

    Copy the link

Press Share link at the top of the editor and the address is copied to your clipboard. Paste it into your team chat, your email to parents, or your league’s website.

  5. 5

    Or print the QR code

Press QR code for a scannable version, and Download PNG to save it. Organizers put it on dugout signs, rink boards and the back of a schedule handout, so nobody has to type a URL.

What visitors see

Whichever of the three tables you have enabled, in the order and sort you set, with your colours and font. The schedule carries filter dropdowns for any text column with more than one value. There is no login wall, no ad, and no account prompt.

The link is read-only. Nobody who has it can change your data, and nobody needs an account to read it.

Knowing whether anyone is looking

Your dashboard shows a view count per league, and the number of views in the last week. Views are counted without cookies and without identifying anyone — no IP, no user agent, nothing stored about a visitor. The trade is that it counts views rather than people: one parent refreshing six times during a game is six views. Bots and your own visits while signed in are filtered out.

Keeping the same link all season

The share id does not change when you edit the page, rename the league, or add a table. A QR code printed in week one still works in week twenty. It changes only if you create a different league — which is why duplicating a league for a new season gives you a new link, and editing last season’s in place keeps the old one.

Common questions

Do viewers need an account?
No. That is the point of the link. Players, parents and spectators open it and read it, on a phone or a laptop, with no sign-up of any kind.
Can I take the page down?
Yes. Untick Public under Settings and the page stops resolving for everyone. Tick it again to bring it back. Your data is untouched either way.
Is the page indexed by Google?
Share pages are public in the sense that anyone with the link can read them. If you want yours found by name, link to it from your league’s own website — that is what search engines follow.
What does publishing cost?
A one-time purchase — currently $29 USD against a list price of $49 USD. There is no subscription, no renewal, and nothing to cancel. See the pricing page for what else it includes.
